I love being a photographer!

I am exhausted.  After a week of playing with teens (otherwise known as ministering to)at a church in Michigan, it was off to a wedding in Wakarusa, IN!  I happen to put in more hours than most photographers, because I love spending time with the bride and her family.  So Friday night I was at the rehearsal as well as the rehearsal dinner.  I decided to try the photo booth (which is all the rage, and I happen to think it is a fun idea) for the very first time.  I am even more of a fan, now that I have done one!  I know there are a few kinks for me to work out before I do one at a wedding, but I will have them worked out by October (wink, wink, Ambere!).

So it was a full day of wedding shooting (starting at 8 a.m.) and ending at 7 p.m.  But I loved every minute of it.... even though it was 100 degrees! Ashley was so laid back and happy all day.  She even tried to do a 'Bridezill@' photo, but that was an epic fail, because ultimately it looks like she is showing me her nails, and how pretty they were!

We ended the day in the park, and my cute assistant/ videographer caught them coming in on the horse and carriage!
Now it is time to edit!  I enjoy the process, and today I am by the pool, so it will be even more enjoyable!  I have narrowed the photos down to 1,440, but will need to narrow those down a bit still!

*I also did a family session and senior pictures this weekend, so I will spend all week editing, swimming, editing, cleaning.... all to catch up before I leave for a wedding in NY next week!
